so first of all, it takes me a long time to be able to go to multiplayer, i usually have to click around for a long time, until the connect button will work, then when I press it, it says, "this username already taken" wtf??

Retry after an hour. It's a bug because since you probably tried to get in more than once, the computer probably thinks you're still in the MP lobby.

Doesn't work Naota. If he got kicked and his username was still inactive in the lobby, logging out wouldn't do anything. People do that all the time in MP. They log out, and sign on a username with less MP level to substantially raise themselves against players when it wouldn't have made that much difference to their oppononents MP level before ... Buuut it keeps the same name, just recognizes the MP level from the differing username.
