    Figure I'd do this right.

A Literature Forum. Several users have already shown interest, much more than the new Digital Arts forum ever had.

It would be a place for people to post original poetry, original stories, song lyrics for interpretation... It would also like it to be taken seriously. People would be banned from this forum after a certain number of offenses, but the rules, I would like to be more strict. Criticsm must be constructive; if it's just a downright tearing apart of the work, or going "Lol that suxs"... That would be unacceptable.

I think this forum would be a great idea that has gone unheeded many, many times.

    Please consider it.

    Mal
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

    My new novel:

    Maledictions: The Offering.

    Now in Paperback!

    RE: Figure I

I don't know how much traffic a lit forum will get(I don't think FFR attracts as many writers as, say, a Wizards of the Coast board), but it's defintely a better idea than a programming forum.
    I think it's worth a shot.

I think the CT forum is already a good place to post poetry, stories, and other similar things. Both Chit-Chat and Critical Thinking forums don't recieve much attention these days, and looking at the forums in general, I think the overall activity of posting has dropped. Plus, it seems the threads that focus on a submitted short story don't go much beyond two pages.

I agree that lit can go in CT.

And regarding the drop in posting, that always happens the first few months of school.
