im completely sick of how the observers can join your room and spam the hell out of your game. Also the spam in the lobby done by guests eliminate the guest option

You can set the number of guests to 0.

Youcan set guests to 0 and LD and Chardish are supposed to be making it so that they can have Multiplayer Mods, so yeah that should take care of alot.

I agree, we either need moderation or a quick fix for spammers. At one point 3 people in mainchat were spamming at the same time, and firefox started to lag a bit. This isn't really an issue when you're not playing, but it'd be kind of nice to talk to the people in mainchat once in a while. I would think it would be pretty simple to implement some kind of spam prevention, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was resolved in the next release. Personally, I think guests shouldn't be able to talk in mainchat. I mean, if they dont have 5 minutes to make an account, I doubt they want to converse and arrange games- they probably just want a quick random game.
