    Training mode.

    I think there should be a training mode or something like that...

    You don't gotta change the songs or arrow patterns/speed or anything like that...just make it so that if you get too many misses, you don't gotta start the whole level over again.

    Also you should make it so there is no high score in this training mode..so that people don't press random buttons and the start bragging that they are #1.

    I think this would be a good idea for FFR because I suck at it and I can barley beat any of the levels and it took me forever before I could even beat the FF7 song and even then I used unorthidox methods(not cheating...but it would be too hard to explain how). Also for the other people who arn't that good so that they could get a chance to build there skills for a level before they try it in the normal mode.

    Just a suggestion...I'm sure someone must've already thought of this...

    that'd be cool.. like.. be able to select just a portion of the song that you wanna play.. just like in ddr.. but i honestly couldnt see that happening.. that'd be WAAAAYYYYY to complicated to code.

        what about a mode that doesn't count misses as much, or even at all? So you couldn't fail the level? Or even difficulty levels that were just plain simpler? (granted, you'd need a lot more stepfiles) But I don't think that'd be too hard to code, unless flash is completely-out-the-wazoo different from C++. In which case, disregard my post, cuz I have no background to speak from.

            'Completely out the wazoo different' does not aptly express the magnitude of the difference between the 2 languages.
