It would be good to see the same thing you would see when someone sends you a challenge.

Challenge and then it blinks Pending.

The same thing should be done to the FFR Shop. "Pending" or "New Song"

This is a good idea .

Should be pretty easy as well, they update the News page on the game every week, same concept, only with image.

That news page pulls from the same data the main page does, so it automaticlly updates.

You could use the image code as a temporary cover-up for the real button, and remove it after one or two days. Something like that. I havn't used flash in about two weeks so I can't remember everything.

hmm if that does get up and running it would be a great help cuz sometimes i go on check the ffr shop out and all of teh sudden WHOA theres 3 more songs here! and other times i check day after day after day and no new ffr shop songs
