I was reading the FAQ, noticed that there was a question about the lack of rock songs. A band called Symphony X (www.symphonyx.com) has 8 of their songs up for free download and distribution (I assume, considering the songs are on their website). The band is a progressive metal band (sounds like a fusion of classical with metal, yet it works). I would make a DWI file and all, but my computer = t3h suck (a 700 Mhz iMac, can barely run FFR in the first place, but I survive =p.), and I can't download Stepmania or any DDR sim game aside from FFR. Just throwing the idea and band out there, for consideration. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a huge fan of their stuff.

Alot of them are too long for ffr, but if synth would like a couple of long song for rock, i would suggest using them. -
