I think that there should be some more song variety in the Funk and Rock catergories.
The songs really don't interest me, and they are also a little too easy...
I was also wondering if we could add One-Winged Angel to arcade, seeing as we already have the FF7 battle song in there. I have a website with the music...
I read the sticky and am still not sure whether it would be okay to have this song on the site. Because FF7 is already on there, doesn't that mean that Squaresoft allowed us to use the music on this site?
One-Winged Angel would be a great challenge in the arcade section!!!

We'll have to contact squaresoft again to see if we can use that song, Chardish will get on that this weekend.

As for varity in the funk and rock sections, we are kinda at the mercy of artists. We are always activly searching for new talent, but there seems to be less Funk music out there.

well the stepfiles in the rock section aren't on beat anyway, not that it's important, seeing as how whoever created those stepfiles could have done that purposefully to add another level of complexity
if that's the case then it sort of defeats the original purpose of having stepfiles based on the rhythm of the music

maybe i'm wrong and the time it takes the music in the rock section to travel through my ear and register in my brain doesn't equal the time it takes for the arrows to do the same through my eyes, and I should go to the doctor, but i'm pretty sure it's just the author of the stepfile making mistakes

also, who cares about the funk section? really, the music in the arcade section is mostly electronic anyway, just like the dance section, which are all pretty good, i do like the celldweller songs a lot, and even though that other band sucks (exodus??) i still like playing them, and wouldnt' mind them being a little harder

also i'm tired of the classical section too, i've full combo'd all of them, and I think that since classical music is public domain anyway (the midi versions at least) there should be more to it

Just because not everyone likes funk doesn't mean we should ignore that genre completely!!!!!
Although the songs do kinda suck.........
That is besides the point.
One-Winged Angel would be awesome, as any other new songs that come out.
Maybe I can go work on passing........
classical songs....................
yeah i know, itz kinda sad, but I can't react that fast and I'm not really into button mashing....

It's not that we are ignoring it, it's the fact that not many people make funk songs, so they aren't readily available to us.
