    A High Score Suggestion

I have an idea that I spent an hour searching for, and didn't see anyone who mentioned this already. The reason I like this idea is because of people like Nima creating multiple accounts, and getting more than one high score on the same song. I mean, if you like at Revolutionary Etude, Nima has the top two scores, just on different accounts. He did this on a lot of other songs, too, including For FFR, and Caprice. I don't know if this is implementable or not, however. What I think should happen is, on each song, only one high score should be allowed per IP address. It's not fair to players like me who can get a score in the top ten, and be lowered, or even knocked out of the top ten, because one person has two different scores. If things go really bad, some day, Nima could have all ten scores on some songs.

By the way, my username already doesn't appear on a lot of high score lists, because of the tie breaker for identical scores. I believe the ties always go to the person who joined most recently, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, what do you think of my 1 high score per IP address idea? Is it good or bad?

It's decent in theory but how does that stop someone from going to a school computer lab or a friend's house, etc., and playing multiple times from different locations? I'm regularly on at least four different computers during the week so that would still be unfair.

But with Nima, he did that because it was a username change, it wasn't to have two scores on the list, it was just SMGod was his new username.

Plus he's requested for his account to be deleted.
