    MP Connection Freeze

    System:
Gentoo Linux, kernel 2.4.26-r9 i686 Athlon

    Browser:
Firefox 1.0 Final Release, SVG support (This is linux so don't give me that IE junk. I mean even homeland security says don't use it, now that's saying something.)

    Plugins
    Shockwave Flash
    File name: libflashplayer.so
    Shockwave Flash 7.0 r25
    Java(TM) Plug-in Blackdown-1.4.1-01

Game play is fine, generally, with a dropped keystroke from time to time.
When you click on Mp Connect, it waits a while, then locks the browser.

Oh and personal opinions about operating systems should be kept to yourself. If the game is on the web, it should be usable on all platforms. If it was meant only for windows platforms it should be an executable. (At which point one using Linux could use Transgaming's Wine to play.)

      RE: MP Connection Freeze

Um the bug isn't the fact that the MP is down. The bug is that the browser freezes. The code should bail correctly when the mp fails.

Now, about your personal attack, is that really appropriate? I worked hard to craft a post that wouldn't start a flame war about operating systems, because I wanted the bug addressed. And then I get some punk attacking me? You can see I've posted about 3 times so far, and quite frankly it shows something about your character if you have to beat on new users to make yourself feel big.
