The following is just a list of things that I think would improve the chat, as in the options to keep it under control. These are merely suggestions and not demands in the least bit, just seeing what you think of them and if they are possible if at all.

1. Longer kick times- If this is possible, I know you did not create the chat but a friend of yours had something to do with it, so if this is possible, it would be a nice addition. This is something that could help the people who like to spam over and over again "cool off" so to speak. With this option it would be nice to choose how long a person is to be kick, depending on the severity of the offense.
2. Ban Option- I realize you do not want to give the chat mods that much power, however, as an alternative, it would be nice to have some sort of Ban Request Form that immediately comes to your attention via PM or email, whichever is more convienient. In these Ban Request Forms, the act or acts that are considered punishable will be outlined for your perusal and you can decide whether or not the offense is bannable, or even ISP notification is required.
3. I know this was mentioned also, but an ignore button would be nice, maybe the moderators could have the ability to mute an individual, allowing all other users to not have to put up with the garbage that is spewing from that individual's mouth, etc.

i think that the default message in the chat "Type here" should be changed
everyone who enters chat comes in and just presses enter, why not make it so that it says hi or something like that instead..
