Either keep better containment or no containment of FFR DWIs

I've found that I have many FFR DWIs I shouldn't, but the people who get them don't mind passing them to their friends which results in a chain of sending. I know a few people in particular, which I would gladly blame, but that would do me no good. My point is, either take care of these people, or allow the spread of these DWIs. I feel bad for the people that constantly ask me for things I have, where I must turn them down.

If you want to keep them from everyone, so people are more apt to play them (now I'm talking about R2 here), only have the simfile author and the key staff (Synthlight and soccr [he's a key component of R2, and a trustable source :P]) have the DWI to the song.

If you are going to have them free for everyone, you should have them in the downloads section to avoid the inevitable forum asking. It happened when it was a rule, it'll be even worse when it's not a rule.

SUMMARY: People suck at being trusted, especially a couple, in particular, that have like, everything for almost no reason. Either:

    A) Simfile artist and Synth/soccr have them only. Keep it to a MINIMUM.
    B) Have them in the download section.

A while back, Izzi said that they had the dwi for "Salad for Your Tuesday" which, unless I'm mistaken, was made by Synth. That's really weird, that a dwi by Synth could get out. I would agree with Privateer, for this very reason, but I think part of what's great about FFR is that the users can give back to the game by making stepfiles. So, in other words, I'd like to be able to have one of my dwis accepted into FFR at some point.

Someone made a DWI to Salad For Your Tuesday. It's in the FFR Database.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

For some DWIs, people are stupid and can't be trusted. For others, they've already been PUBLICLY RELEASED so everyone who's been playing Stepmania for over a year has them. Caprice, Uber Rave, Revo, and FOTBB come to mind.

And more still got transmitted because people played them on cam in FFR Chat, and that pretty much makes people crave them like the thirsty man craves water. Molto Vivace comes to mind but I know there have to be others.

From what I hear, Molto Vivace was zipping around messaging services before Synth even added it to FFR.

            1. I make the Molto Vivace MP3 out of a midi in Fruityloops.
            2. Reach makes DWI.
            3. I am sent DWI.
            4. I send Kilga the DWI for no real reason.
            5. Reach sends it to Synth, and, apparently, other people.
            6.
            7. Profit.

My Minute Waltz stepfile was also publicly released during Bemanistyle 5.5, but it will not be given to ANYBODY now. I don't exactly remember when Caprice was a public release =\

We can't stop the stepfile makers from distrobuting them, even if we tell them no.

However, in R2, there will be less people making files.
