In regard to the April Fools gimmick, please make this a permanent feature as an opt-in visual modifier. I really enjoy it and feel it adds flavour and variety to the game.
In the mean time I have archived a permalink to this build for anyone interested in using it after it may cease to exist in the official release. The engine can be loaded from: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fridzaf4qe...ngine.swf?dl=0
My only issue is that while viewing replays the ability to seek using the song progress bar is lost. Would also be cool if the arrows stayed arrows but retained their colour shifting, or at least that the receptors match shape of the noteskin.
Not trying to step on anyone's toes, just showing my support for a great enhancement. If need be I will remove the engine link (Not just its visibility on this thread), but I hope this can remain as well as be implemented as a permanent feature.
Edit: Dropbox is silly and does not want to let me hotlink it. Interested users must download the SWF and load it locally. Sorry for the inconvenience.
