    No combo

I just want to say that I like playing SM, because I can't really see my combo (it's harder to see and read) I like not being able to see it, because I get mad when it breaks. I'm fairly sure this is a new idea so here it is: I recommend a mod which turns off your combo. You still have a combo but you can't find out what you're max combo was until you finish the song.

    So, what do you think?

isnt that what blind does in Stepmania? i think i used that once or twice, but i prefer to see how i'm doing. although, i can understand why u'd like to be able to hide how good or bad you're hitting the arrows.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

I love seeing 1000 pop up in Stepmania.

As for your suggestion, I say if it doesn't take much for Synth to put it into FFR, then sure. Otherwise, it's not important enough.

I wouldn't think it'd be any harder to program than dark. I'd think it'd work the same way.

Really simple code: (ComboMC is a movieclip holding the text box with the combo)

          ComboMC._visible=false;

I could add it to my list of to-do's for R2 but does it really need an extra button on the interface just to turn it off?

If alot of people like it then i will add it after some other stuff which comes first...

Or you know you could consider moving it away from the arrows. Maybe to an ominous corner of the window. Something like that perhaps?

But then if someone wants to see it, it will be harder to look at. That is why everything now is lined up down the center of the arrows...

That's why I said mod. It could go with the arrow scrolls or something in the settings tab. Also, has anyone else noticed that there is a noteskin to pick? It's the default and it shows in your mods circle at the end last time I checked. I guess that could go in the bug report but it don't matter so much.

You should make it flash all of the colors of the rainbow in succession as fast as possible and be in size 72 impact font.

And constantly scroll around the screen and have an announcer yell every time another number is added to you combo.

Every arrow addition would have the announcer yell 'NOW' and it would get cut-off for every new arrow you hit. That wouldn't be annoying at all.

no, dont have them cutoff, have them stack on top of each other so in FOTBB u cant even hear the music, just the announcer 50 times over. maybe i should stop making noteskins and start making announcers using all these wonderful ideas!

Sounds like a plan. I've been wanting to try playing with an announcer for a while now.
