I don't know if there is a thread about it, but I'm not going and looking around for hours if there is, but:

Why the hell is FFR so damn laggy as of late? I can't play any song on FFR without it halfway turning to shit lag right in the middle of it.

Velo's engine is the only engine I use for tournaments because reading on that engine is much better for me then any others.

R^2 is okay, but just annoying at times, and R^3 is a joke for me to play on. Anyone else having this issue, and if so, wtf have you done to fix it?

I play with r^2 and I don't have any issues on my end. Velo engine has been unplayable for me since I came back to this game. R^3 lol....never going to touch that engine.

I have the issue but with Legacy. I switched to Velo on low settings and it's playable from there.

Whats your computer specs? What do you occasionally run while you're playing FFR? I might be able to help out a bit.

I've had a lot of lag spikes on velocity engine the last couple days, before that it worked really nice, the other engines seem ok though for me

Did you try toying with the offset on velo engine? Also, have you tried just playing on medium instead of low?

OBJECTION - contradiction

Seriously though, I highly recommend using Flash 9. You're obviously aware of all of the other things like disabling Aero-based effects/setting for best performance.

I remember someone making a note of changing the processor's affinity to a single-core a long time back, but I don't remember there being definitive proof for it (I think I tried it when you were over at our apartment last, before we left).

Offset's on all the songs are fine, no need to worry about that.

And, I played on Medium and it was even more laggy then High.

EDIT: AJ, yes you are right, you did it for Sara's Laptop, but I don't remember how to do that anymore.

And it's not objective! Lol everyone I know that uses Flash 11 that I've spoken too say it is completely laggy as hell.

EDIT: And I meant *** I only use 11 for R^3 to see if its ever become non laggy lol
