    Unresponsive keys and lag

I've had many problems lately with my computer and I don't know what to do now.

The first thing that bugs me is my keyboard. Sometimes, when I play a song, the keys stop reacting for about 0.1-0.2 seconds and I get a good or a miss. 99.99% it works fine, but that 1 note really irks me. It's weird. Does that happen to anyone?

The other thing is lag. I was able to reduce it a lot but I would like to reduce it even better. I play on the Legacy Standalone version with GameBooster on. My settings are 1.6x, downscroll, QWOP. Last week, I changed my internet connection. It's 3 times faster than it was before, but somehow, it doesn't solve my lag issues on FFR.
My computer is a Dell Studio 1558, Intel Core i7 1.60 GHz. (about 2 years old)
I tried also to clear my cache or set priority to high (that works well with other flash games tho).

    Re: Unresponsive keys and lag

idk about the unresponsive keys (may be ghosting or whatever the **** it's called) but I was dealing with lagg for months and then I read this..
V-Ormix suggested Right clicking on the flash player and going into the settings tab to allow Unlimited Storage (you right click in the flash player screen, like if you accidentally right clicked while playing FFR).
Worked wonders :/ hopefully it's that simple for you

I'll also suggest this again: If you are serious about cutting out your lag, while you play, switch to Windows Classic theme. it works WONDERS i promise you.

        @MrPreggers
It's actually a lot better than it was before. I'll have to try more songs to make sure it last. Thank you.

As for ghosting, I don't have any problem hitting chords or quads, it happens mainly during jumps or single notes.

        EDIT :
        I'll try switching the theme.
        EDIT2 :
Oh wow, it flows pretty well.

        Thanks for the advices guys!

I have somewhat the same problem with my keyboard right now. I have tried everything from switching around which usb slot I put it in to changing to every type of key combination. My repeat rate is already at the slowest. You might have to do what I am which is buy a new keyboard

I keep my repeat rate on max lol, dunno if that really makes a difference.
