do you use the velocity or legacy engine? If you can use either select both please.

Nobody is ever in velocity MP, so I use legacy. Velo MP is still a little buggy so that's a factor too.

I typically don't see many in MP in general when I go in :/ I had a feeling that legacy was the most used but I wanted to make sure. Thinking about a possible event.

I'm in MP a lot and I've never gone into velo MP and seen more than like 1 person in the lobby, if even that, whereas legacy MP has about 8-15 people in it on average.

Definitely legacy. Seems like they're both dead nowadays though..

I don't even know how to access MP on the velo engine. Only reason I use velo is when I want to have fun using a different noteskin or use the advantage of the PA counter for something. Legacy for serious play and MP.

I personally use Velo, but I think it may be a little glitchy. I played someone in it about two months ago, and when I look at my MP stats it shows me having played them twice in each song. O.oComment

If an event is to run in MP, I'll be sure to partake in it. MP needs recognition anyway. :/

I use legacy but MP's pretty buggy for me anyway. Plus with the song loading bug still around you'll have to be really careful to select only charts which don't have that problem.
And aside from the song loading problem (which isn't MP-specific .. but would dictate chart selection) MP in-game chat messes up to the point where after a game is played I effectively can't type in MP in-game chat anymore but the other person can -- pressing "Enter" literally will put a newline in my text I'm typing rather than submit it to chat/etc... unless I press it a bunch rapidly, and throws all those newlines up in the chat too lol. This happens after playing any one match (remedy by logging back out and logging back in to MP after any one song is played).
There's some other weirdness with some of the games in MP sometimes too -- it'll think you're in some game when you're not sometimes - then you can't join anything because it thinks you're already in a game.sigpicOriginally posted by Crashfan3Comment

Looks like the legacy engine's gonna win this one. I do want to do an MP event but also know it wont be perfect because of lag issues and such. Hopefully we can still have a successful event regardless.
