I actually met her at the AM2 con a couple weeks ago and had a pretty long conversation about brony music. The funny thing is that I didn't know she was Rina-chan until the MLP Fandom panel.

Man, I'm sad. I was helping out my Boy Scout troop with our games that we set up each year to help raise money, and I saw some lady with a Brony t-shirt on walk by. I was busy with someone at the moment, and by the time they finished their game and I was free, she had disappeared. Didn't see her again.

The only other bronies I know in my town were all in my graduating class, and were all guys. Would have been nice to get an older, feminine perspective.

Well, they kind of are, no one would expect such a huge fan-base over a show made for 5 year old girls, nor want to even take a peek at it, so people commonly flip their shit when the mention of ponies is brought up to them. It's sort of becoming a complex for people now, seeing how huge the fan-base has grown and how far it has spread.
