And i have attempted to play with two hands but... It feels so unnatural to me. Maybe i'll make another account where I just play with two hands so I don't mess up my rank. I know it's probably not that great lawl. But I've worked hard for it

It's always a good idea to read the "stickies", or the threads with a thumbtack beside them. They usually awnser a lot of questions you would originally come here for. Anyway hope you have a great time back at FFR!

Well like first of all what's with the little green circles next to songs on the lists that I think say FC.
And how do you AAA? what exactly is that? Do you have to be on a certain difficultly level to get it?
And if anyone has any advice as to how to get better or songs I could play to help. I play one handed and I can't get past Very Difficult (8) to save my life :\

FC = Full Combo (It means that you hit every arrow without missing one)

AAA = Perfect Score (It means that you got a perfect on every arrow)

Also, it depends what you mean by difficultly level. If you just started playing FFR then it will probably take you some time to get your first AAA unless if you are a fast learner! As for advice, I can not really help you much since you are a one-handed player however one thing I will say is to practice your weaknesses and stay determined when you are practicing. If you would like to learn even more info about the game that you might be interested in looking on this page!

If you want, you can practice two hands on this account as well (: there isn't a way to mess up your rank. But you do have to watch for those pesky little people that will beat your score on a song, then your rank will get a bit worse.

AAA'ing a song automatically puts you at rank 1 for that song though, no matter how many other people have also AAA'd it.

It feels extremely unnatural to begin playing with two hands, but with practice, it becomes second nature. Fortunately I started playing with two hands so I never had to make that transition, but I know many people who were forced to change their one handed playing to further excel in gameplay. Although, again, it's completely up to you if you want to play with one or two hands (:

I think part of the confusion when starting with two hands is the feeling of assigning two hands to two arrows each. Once you know "your place", it's becomes much easier to play. So the first step to playing with two hands is to familiarize yourself with the arrows each of your hand will use.

I'll take my own key setup, SDJK, as an example:

-I place my left middle finger on S for the left arrow, as it's to the very left of the key setup, and the left arrow is to the very left in-game
The left index fingers goes to D for the down arrow, right next to the left arrow (: just like how the down arrow is second from the left in game.
-On the right hand, my right index finger hits J for the up arrow. J is second from the right in the setup, just like up is second to the right in game.
Last but not least, the right middle finger goes to K for the right arrow, as K is to the very right just like the right arrow in game.

This way of viewing it works for most other spread setups as well (like i mentioned earlier: ASKL, QWOP, ERUI, ZCXV, and so on)

I generally say that with 2 weeks of practice on spread, you'll be better than you ever were with one hand.

If you want to get better quickly, start playing spread. You can try and continue with one hand but that can only bring you so far.

And if you want to improve your accuracy, try playing a more similar game to ffr like stepmania.
