I usually block something within 5 tries. If it's not blocked then I'm lucky as hell and usually choke at the end or something cause I'm shaking, then I can't play cause I'm shaking lmao
I've whored songs for hours back in the day. Whoring causes mindblocks usually, and that was always a big problem. Since then, though, we've had mirror added and later on that is what I used to stop mindblocks. I'd change to mirror and back every few plays which really seems to help.

You're just like Kayla, haha.
As far as me - I typically push REALLY hard for scores that I really want, but sometimes, the score that I am pushing for is simply not doable for what I'm capable of. Looking at my level ranks, I've got a few rough 12s sitting in my level ranks that I'm more than capable of getting a perfect score on, but simply can't due to multiple reasons - frustration, blocks, or just problems with certain spots.
I'd love to kill off most of the songs I have left. FFR has turned into a game of frustration.
For the most part, I find playing any sort of rhythm game fun (especially one that I am most adapted too). I guess I still find FFR fun, even though it can be frustrating at times. That being said, I guess the chances of me raging depends on how I'm feeling today. If I have a bad day, I am more likely to rage haha. I generally have this optimistic look in everything that I do as well even though at times, some goals seem impossible for me. This optimism helps me become motivated and even if I don't succeed, I like trying to get the best scores that I can get on each file since it shows my determination of trying. I'm proud of all of my scores so far, but I hope to improve them to my fullest potential.
Friends on this site also help me stay motivated as well. I'm glad to meet many people online who share the same interest as I do. It helps keep me motivated in the game. Of course I won't play this game forever, but I'm making those moments the best they can be.
Playing to get FCs and SDGs as opposed to AAAs has kept the game fun for me. Perfection is not really a sensible goal for me, I'd much rather improve all-around then focus on one song and AAA it through hours of whoring.

A million times this, too.
Plus I have fun making files- you get a different perspective and have to think a different way, making vs. consuming content.
Just remember, it's a game and you're playing it to have fun. Whether that fun is from seeing yourself improve, enjoying the music, or being fiercely competitive with others about scoring, remember that if it stops being fun, THERE'S NO REASON TO KEEP PLAYING. Take a break and do something else, nobody will hold it against you...
i usually never play a song more than 2-3 times before switching to a different song. if bad scores continue then i just browse the internet and try again later. the only time i rage is when i have a consistent skill drop that lasts more than a couple weeks
I've never whored a file to get a AAA. Just played it and happened to be lucky. If I failed, I just went on and played something else and came back to the song I wanted to AAA later.
