He does spell "Degradation" correctly in the title. Haha, silly unstressed vowel sounds and me not knowing how to spell them. And actually the title is supposed to be "of the Mind", not "Soul", but he said either would work, because it's the same general idea.

I did make a post asking for the file to be removed from the queue, but the ... "changing it up to better suit a particular difficulty" never happened anyway, but this should be fine. Just hope too many people don't find it too awkward to play and whatnot, heh.

Kamunt can get a FFR R1 Music Producer title now, though he doesn't really frequent the site now...

Clash on the Big Bridge felt like a 6. (second half + end)
Keep It Short felt like a 9. (incredibly tricky, only 4-5 aaas?!)
The Degredation of the Soul is alright.
No Purpose Flour [Veteran] felt like a low 12. (ffs I haven't even FC'd it and I don't want to mash that, oh wait- corecore is a 11, nvm that)

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally leaning towards low FGO for NPF

Haven't played the other files yet

Edit: just played Clash, surprisingly fun for such an easy file, although definitely not a 5 lol. Coloured notes and a decent amount of technical proficiency required to PA certain parts of the file, plus length and notecount, means this shouldn't be lumped in the same difficulty level as Secret Zombie Room lmao

Played all of the files and they were all good :]

It was hard for me to play Degredation because I'm so used to responding to those beats by hitting more difficult patterns like rolls, but it's a good simple file!

Clash On the Big Bridge is really long but is still a good file. Glad I SR'd this as well.

Keep It Short is a good file. Can be frustrating for those that don't like files like Streets. Those framers make those 48th gallops look retarded haha.

No Purpose Flour is alright. I wish those framers didn't mess up that trill and that 48th wall

Overall, good files! Can't wait for next week's release

And yeah we've had Black Mages permission for like... 3 years now? Nobody ever made a file for one of their songs, which is odd, but I'm glad I got the first one in. One difficulty is that they stipulated their songs CANNOT BE CUT hence the absurdly long file. That is one issue with stepping any of their songs, Clash on the Big Bridge is actually one of their shorter tunes :/

I have to say that Clash is definitely NOT a 5. Far too long, and the 12th streams are beyond 5 material. I'd put it at 6, if not 7.
