Hello I play with askl and sometimes qwop and i cant hit the notes fast enough like the streams i need help what should i do?

Try to place your hands into different ways and play songs to figure out if you do better one way or another. Having the right hand posture is pretty much the first step to get some speed.

These tips are for improving your FFR skills in general, not just for streams.

1) Work on playing songs that you can barely play and play those songs everyday until you get an improvement and can actually see the notes and are able to hit them.

2) Find out some of your weaknesses and ask around to see what songs have that pattern. If the song is too hard, pick a song that has that type of pattern and is 1 or 2 difficulties lower.

3) Randoming songs within your difficulty range is a good way to improve your FFR abilities.

4) Lastly, like LongGone's picture, practice makes perfect. Just keep playing and you will definitely see improvement in the near future.

Every time you miss an arrow, slap yourself across the face

soon you will force yourself to hit arrows so you don't have to hurt yourself

Always always always jack with your wrist, not with your hand or fingers. Of course, what I mean is vibrate your wrist instead of something else.

This just happens to improve your scores greatly on songs like Grist, AIM Anthem, and Club (which are probably out of your skill range right now anyway) which are mostly long jacks in the first place.

As for hand posture - I generally play with my wrists resting on the table/laptop unless I'm playing a song like the ones above, then play with your wrists hovering in the air. In your keyboarding classes you were probably told to keep your wrists in the air all the time, but this is kinda impractical when playing the really stinking long songs in this game (MAX Forever, Blue Army/Rose/Noah, WT2004 to name a few) so I don't bother with it.

OP - you would do best to take all of the advice that has been given here; pmonibuv1 improved drastically in an extremely short period of time (and still keeps improving).

Another thing that I would like to add: repetition in moderation works wonders. This may sound weird, but let me explain.

When you get to a certain level, you start hitting more concentrated and technical patterns using what is commonly known as "muscle memory". Anytime where you're capable of doing a pattern without reading/following it directly (note: intently reading it) involves muscle memory. Many players use this to their advantage for purposes of consistency.

Too much of the same thing can be bad; normally, a player that is successful at songs time and time again has "locked in" their technique and has the proper muscle memory to do it over and over again. When practicing, many people have found success in isolating particularly difficult areas of a chart and working towards a perfect muscle memory. However, a player that continues to practice and continues to fail to perfectly hit a pattern may incorrectly lock in a pattern (resulting in what is commonly known as a mental block, or just block for short), causing them to hit some part of it incorrectly over and over again, no matter what they do. The most common way to fix this problem is to mirror the song.

Repetition can yield good results, but doing it too long can cause you to hit a wall where you can't improve (at least for that particular song).

The only thing i cant stress enough is to push yourself. You would be surprized how fast your fingers can move when you can read the notes clearly and accuratly. Play songs that are too hard for you and concentrate your ass off like pmon said. This has worked wonders for me.

Play songs your having trouble with until you get them. You will be surprised how fast you get it right at your level.

Learn to vibrate your wrists. I was able to do it with my right hand for as long as I could remember, but I had to teach my left hand. I literally made songs that forced me to jackhammer Q and W (I play QWOP spread too ) until I got it, but there should be easier ways to learn it (excluding jacking off).

The feeling where your hands cannot keep up with what they want to do is usually normal for when you are either rusty (not playing in a LOOONG time) or you are just not at the level yet.
