    Hard Stepfiles

A bit a of a noob topic, but I figured I'd get more replies here. I was just wondering how people go about mastering, or even getting 70% of a song like Caprice or One Minute Waltz. I've played these songs over and over and I'm not improving much, mainly because I find myself mashing random keys during the tough parts. I know, kind of nerdy to be asking this type of question, but ever since I bought NeoMax (today is when I first noticed it) and aced it on my third try, the adrenaline started flowing a bit and my friends got a kick out of it. I was just curious. Thanks.

"Aced" as in Full Comboed or just beaten?
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

You could wait for speed mods to come out. I'm sure those will help a lot, as they usually help in SM.

Flat 1.0x is hard to read.

The real question is what does "n00b" mean to him.

No, the real question is how do you do it. I started working on Beethoven Virus yesterday, but I fear I will never get a bigger combo than 110 (which is what I got yesterday). How do you "masters" learn these songs. Can you do them after just a few tries, or does it take a while to learn the more difficult songs or what?

Umm...why would you ask a question like this.

Can you do them after just a few tries, or does it take a while to learn the more difficult songs or what?
It's like asking us. Hey what's 1+1? I can't figure it out can you give me the answer. NO! Well what do you do if your stumped on something? Keep trying.

                There you go.

I think the gift you lack is intelligence.

If you think you can make a statement like that based on one post, then you obviously hold yourself in a very high regard. Can you seriously tell yourself that you've never asked a question that someone else thought was obvious. If you can, you are lying to yourself. No one knows everything (I sure as hell don't as you could tell be the fact that I asked a question), but if you think that intelligence is directly linked to one's knowledge of FFR, especially of someone's ability whom I've never seen play, then you need to re-evaluate your values. Believe it or not, the world does not revolve around this game.

A simple no would have sufficed. You were being an ass by demeaning me with your little analogy. As I just said, I don't know everything, and the best way to learn (IMO) is to ask questions. I'm sorry for trying to expand my knowledge. If you have a problem with that, you don't need to answer. Comprende?

English please. Thanks. Ya good for you. Ask questions in N00b forum that's why it's there.

"Comprende" is a cross-over word, used readily where I live (in Western Canada). Do you have a problem when someone says coup d'etat in a political debate? Do you object when someone comments on the facade of a building? I doubt it.

As for using the n00b forum, yeah, I know its there. But this thread wasn't, it was here, so, since I had a related question, I abstained from making a new thread and asked in an existing one. I'm done arguing with you. I'm not here to make enemies, and I'm afraid that this is degenerating into that Truce?
