You would think that, but the more names you put on it, the more people will be willing and able to buy it. 1000 means 500 more users that could buy it. There are a decent number of 500-1000 rank users that would be interested. An idea I always thought might be interesting would be to do a front and back t-shirt, with overall in one design on one side, and average in another design on the opposite side. Those lists could be top 500 each, and it would include a variety of people since a lot of people work on either one or the other.
