I found Guitar Sounds harder to get right, and found Variations 2 deceptively more simple. Everything depends on what you're measuring a song's difficulty against. And we haven't set a standard for that yet.

When deciding on what difficulties new songs should be, I generally use current files in the game as a basis. Variations imo would make a solid FMO, and arguably one can claim that Guitar Sounds is an easier FMO. It is generally agreed that Variations of the two is the harder file. Guitar Sounds have so many awkward patterns (yet doable) vs. songs like LWI having straightforward patterns, but a higher speed. I strongly believe that Guitar Sounds should be an easier FMO because files like Epidermis and LWI are FMO worthy (and should be kept that way). This forces Variations to be an FMO as well, which I also strongly agree on.

HOWEVER -- there is NO way that Variations 2 is a 10. Someone needs to bump that up to an 11 right away. Handstreams and mini-jacks at that speed are prevalent in 11s, not 10s. This is no exception.

Usually I'd agree with you, but this song is far too slow for hands to make any sort of difference of difficulty in the stream. Minijacks at that speed are all over the place in 10s. Miraiya has them, gradeus, Turbulence, Nova Pulser. Not only that, but the patterns are very simple, and the streams are fairly short as well.

none of them deserve to be FMO. Also, I AAA'd Guitar Sounds wayyy earlier today, but for some reason, it didn't record (like most of my AAA's ). And like most of my AAA's that don't record, I don't screenshot them, I just try them again and AAA, but I seem to have mental blocks now all over the ****ing song and I can't stand it, I'm getting so damn frustrated, considering I DID AAA earlier. I was online, and logged on, and everything else worked, so is there anywhere on the website that would have proof of my unrecorded score or something? Or did I really need a screenshot? So with no screenshot, I guess you can't record it, and I have to deal with mental blocks on an easy and annoying ass song...

They are quite debatable you know. Easy for you doesn't mean easy for everyone else. Read above for the arguments already said. These files are quite borderline. Variations moreover than Guitar Sounds.

As for your recording problem, did you ever consult with Velo/Admin about the bot making you said you were going to do? Or, your internet might be quite slow and either timeout to send the score or being sent through the wrong port.

ended up not making the bot at all, you can't really do it with java, perl, or python XD. All my other scores today recorded, just this particular one, and it happened to be my AAA, oh well. I'll ask velo, meanwhile, more whoring, ughh...

And I've read the arguments, I said they're easy for me, but I didn't say that's why they should be VC. I just said they aren't FMO's, I feel, after reading those arguments, they are 75's, and not even the hardest, everything described in those arguments have been in previous VC's, some harder than these two. The last song that got bumped was Floating Hour, and these pale in comparison to it.

While Guitar Sounds does have plenty of weird bursts and it's very technical (btw good job, w_c that file is amazing jsin), there isn't anything that really throws it over the VC/FMO border. People who aren't really the best at rainbow files might argue it's an 11. IMO it really could go either way.

AJ is right tho, Variations being FMO is practically out of the question. When compared to Guitar Sounds which is at least high VC, Variations is a much more difficult file. The only thing higher than a high VC is an FMO (disregarding FGO, FSO of course). Just logic.
