Honestly, If I were to compare Variations 2 with a LOT of FMO's I would end up saying that Variations 2 is harder. I mean c'mon you gotta bump down Lawn Wake, Epidermis, Going on Spring Wind and Novo Mondo if Varioations 2 is a VC.

Variations2 is pretty damn slow. I don't see FMO potential there, it's too simple.

I liked Guitar Sounds alot more sped up. The song itself was much improved. The steps are too slow in some parts at 1.0x, but reasonable in the fast parts.

I don't see how handstream is any more difficult than jumpstream, especially at such a low speed.

It's at a speed I'd say bumps it up to FMO. And handstream in general is more difficult than jumpstream - maybe not for you, but normal fast jumpstream doesn't really compare with this kind of handstream imo.

Compare it to any other 10 and then to the 11s. If you're still not convinced, wait a few weeks for the high scores to settle out and I think you'll see the FMO side of the argument more pronounced.

Like I said, give it a week or two (I said a few weeks - odd that I'm mis-paraphrasing myself) and you'll see that not much will change. The AAA numbers will be those of an FMO.

I personally think both Guitar Sounds and Variations 2 are high 10s, not 11s. There's my two cents.

For Variations 2, however dense the jumpstreams are, I think the patterns are made in such a way that they're quite easy to hit, or at least the patterns are easily understandable. Compare "easy, understandable" patterns with songs that are more complex (personally I think Piano x Forte is much harder for example).

Well when you throw in the weird 24th to hand transitions and the awkward jumpglut in the middle it pushes it over the edge for me. The handstream isn't the major issue.

Using song release dates for a difficulty argument is not the best thing to do if the songs in question have been out for an extremely short period of time.

HOWEVER -- there is NO way that Variations 2 is a 10. Someone needs to bump that up to an 11 right away. Handstreams and mini-jacks at that speed are prevalent in 11s, not 10s. This is no exception.

Guitar Sounds feels really tough for a 10 to me, but I also tend to have issues with "ad-lib" rhythms (or extremely colorful patterns). A bit of a speed can help, but this one is questionable in difficulty. It can go either way.

The other two are fine.
