The one thing is yes alot of regulars are alot less welcoming so this prevents alot of new members in the community to want to participate in the forums. Alot of this does happen in ITG where the extremely good players will make any little mistake you say sound stupid and harp you for it. Is it the same here? Not so much, but IT DOES happen.
So it doesn't get drowned out at the bottom of the page ;]

Bolded I agree with, have experienced, and have witnessed on this site [although I've been here for 5 years so you see a lot]. It's sad to see people act like that but it happens to the best of us. Veterans are so used to everything on the site being second nature that it's odd, even funny, when someone has to ask about it. Some people just need to recognize that they sound like a troll and try not to do it. [Unless it's a friend, obviously that's a different case, because I harp my friends all the time XD]

I hope your not answering my sarcasm, it's clearly quoted in my sig XD

            Moral of this topic:
Old Users, lighten up on New users and show them the ropes to the game instead of strangling them with said rope.

Why make a whole new forum for the minority of the active users? If they don't speak English, well, that sucks. Learn it

Thanks Ichlie I thought that post would fall deaf ears, but onto the last post by velocity that is pretty much what would end ALOT of the hate towards elitists.

Ah, rage and rainbows abound. In a world where ponies run free and bad coding is rampant one pony takes it upon himself to change it all. Risking his rainbows day by day to save the masses from unappealing game engines and flaming posters. This is the magical pony known as Velocity. *intro song plays*

I think a lot of the confusion over language can be cleared up, while preserving the rule's merits, by simply making clarifications on said rule. I guess this just highlights the importance of conveying rules as clear as possible. That's just my suggestion. I definitely can see the possibility for confusion and misinterpretation.

Thatskier probably just had some bad days though. Just let things sit out for a while.

Freedom of press. I don't visit this page and hear you speak your words. Also, freedom of press where you're allowed to do what you want. This isn't your site, you don't own nor pay for it, so don't make it seem like it's unlawful. It's not like Velocity saw you on the street and shot you for calling him out. They have the right to ban you as they please, whether fair or not. I'm voicing my opinion on the decisions made, not demanding they change them. Please don't over exaggerate, I'm not here to defend your case, but a bigger issue at hand.

Back on topic. Your moral, Velocity, is very dumbed down. We don't need old users leading new ones, we need a reason to give the impression that this place welcomes all members (races, gender, languages, etc.). People seem to be close minded and saying they should learn english. Yet manga and anime are worldwide. You don't see the japanese hating other people for wanting show interest in manga/anime.

Learning english isn't the solution. Simple reason is you don't need to learn english to play the game. You only need vision to say the least, even deaf people play rhythm games. It's actually weird to think about it, because without the guide of the arrows they wouldn't know what a constant rhythm was.

Anyway, this kind of attitude won't add to a rhythm game's success. Not saying you need a fair forum to make a rhythm game popular, but unless you plan to spend tons of money on advertising, it'd be nice to work with your players. If members say that a certain idea would be great, it'd be in my interest to give it attention. Even if you completely disagree, catering to the people that make your site active would be ideal. This is something that, if done on a lot of rhythm gaming forums, could add to a healthy gaming revival. New games and money spent on arcade designs obviously aren't working, so bringing a healthy and attractive rhythm gaming world/community to the internet could be huge.

                                My main point:
