Re: Index friendly FFR songs?
Depending on which setup you use and what technique you have developed ( indexly speaking ) you can pass/score most of the 9-10. Reality is index ''friendly'' I think.
Edit: Reality confirmed.
Edit : I wish we could use double setup for index. One finger on awds and the other on 1523Last edited by Azafreak; 02-19-2011, 06:38 PM.Comment

If only that were true...
RIP 2005-2007, your non abusive hands and lack of excessive notes will be missed.

Haha, I love how you actually came back. 4 out of 5 people who start threads like this never actually come and say "thanks for answering my question, I'm all set now!"
It usually ends up dragging on for a long time. But glad you got your questions answered, I definitely got some good info from this myself, seeing that I'm an index player.Comment

Re: Index friendly FFR songs?
This is pretty interesting. At first I thought he was standing up, the way his hands looked. But I noticed that he was unusually high above the keyboard. So I tried to mimic his style and moved my hands around the keyboard rapidly. It's slightly easier to move my hands around the arrow keys when I'm above the keyboard, and not right in front of it.
This is definitely cool because spread players like to be right in front of their keyboard and their hands curved. It's easier to have your hands higher and less curved on index though. The mobility gives you more speed. Kind of cool to figure that out. This is just my opinion though, but I'm an index player and I've played a bit of spread, so both sitting positions differ for me.
Props to that player to passing such a hard song on index as well.Comment
