Say what? First person I've met that plays my style! I'm a lefty though, so I use one finger left, and two right. But I call myself index ( even though it's a three fingered index like style) because it's easier to write. I play the same index, I just prefer the three fingered style.

Anyways, I guess I'm not the only one that plays that way.

I play FGHJ with a downward scroll like guitar hero when im drunk cause it makes it real easy.

Edit: You have both middle fingers in common right? I use both index, and one middle. My hand logic might a bit off though.

So basically, it really doesn't matter what style you use as long as you're more comfortable with it. Downscroll isn't any more "noob" than 2x speed. So whatever way you want to play, play the game like that, and screw the haters.

I use AW for the left hand and KL for the right hand. That makes me totally unique and dysfunctional.

Hey, kind of random, but you're the only person I know that plays my style.

Not sure if you like streamy index files, but I noticed that I always thought of good index files as just pad files but faster. I've recently been playing a very old songpack from SMO (like 2006-2007 old probably) and it was designed for index, but it's nothing like pad. It's a lot of broken stream, and it has plenty of jumps, but not enough to make it spread.

I was bringing this up because it looks very hard for a regular index player, but because of my (and maybe your) playing style the jumps become easier to do, making the songs relly well stepped for that style. I just fell in love with this pack, it seems like it was designed for the three finger style. I wanted to let you know in case you were interested in trying these simfiles. They're from the old SMO, and were made YEARS ago.

Let me know if you'd like to try them. You're the only other person I can think of that could judge these files for yourself for the three finger style.

Edit: I just checked the date these songs were uploaded. October 14, 2006. I never thought such awesome files were around for so long, wow.

Ive used Arrow keys for a few years now...

Left Hand
Middle Finger - Left
Pointer - Down

Right Hand
Middle Finger - Right
Pointer - Up


It gets a little cramped but it seems to get the job done XD

It's all preference based. I use AXML.

I personally only have, and only will ever use the arrows with 1hd 3 finger spread, i find the difficulty of it amusing. i have playd this way for 4-5years and have never switched, most jumpstreams come to me naturally now. IMPO 3 finger spread emulates "dancing" more so then any other style and my brain computes how to do the steps much better. also, on a side note, im left handed and play with only my right hand =] and my ring finger is more beastly then anyone elses xDDD
