    I think there used to be some debate as to the limit of difficulty to fulfill a task and get a token. I recall some people wanted to cap it off at FMO, and some (e.g. see post below) wanted much more difficult objectives to entertain the veteran players. I personally don't want an FGO token, but that's me.

      oni isn't that 'medal of honor' it used to be anymore, I think the players need an FGO AAA req token to replace that

      on topic: don't replace the old ones, but new skill token designs for the next 100 or so skill tokens (lol optimistic) would be sick

        I'm not talking about those, I'm talking about Gatcha Hertz + tokens are repeat pictures. Get some new designs for those, I'm sick of having 3 Spontaneous Hidroxide v2 tokens, you know what I mean guys...how long has it been? I mean Disconnected Hardkore is Takecore of yourself, srsly guys...it's ridiculous.

          there was a bunch of designs done by a bunch of people way back a while back.

          someone needs to find that thread, there were some sick ones

                  Maybe there can be skill tokens for daily achievements, like a 500 million points in a day token

                    I'm kinda against that; I'd rather see tokens based off skill on an actual song, rather than based off a measure of how much you play within a certain timeframe.

                    P.S. We need more REGULAR tokens just for kicks
                    Remember when tokens were dispersed across the site? Now that this site's going through an overhaul, maybe there can be new tokens at new pages (e.g. having to refamiliarize yourself with the new staff members, etc. -crappy example-)

                      It would take a certain measure of skill to get 500 million points in a day. If you cant FC songs with dense streams of notes, it would take forever to earn that many points. A true beginner would probably have to stay up for 24 hours straight playing FFR to get that many points, lol.

                        Do you think half of these skill tokens are based on skill? I remember one of the token secrets was hitting only the left and down arrow on Destiny all perfect or something similar to get a token. That's not skill, it's annoying.

                        IDEA: We should make annoying tokens with stupid challenges, like getting the score 55555 on a song or AAAing FGOs etc...

                        P.s. I'll whip up a design that will ultimately be shunned by someones because I'm lazy and will either be beaten to it or not enough creativity.

                          My main point is that skill tokens should be earnt from doing something based off an objective, as opposed to time-based. If time-based, then something tame...I don't think I'd like to spend a long time on the computer whoring songs just because I have to achieve a certain score within one day.

                          With an objective like "get 500 combo", you can make an attempt to do that anytime. With an objective like "get 500mil pts in 24 hours", this is high maintenance. It makes the game less accessible due to a factor OTHER than skill.


                          I also agree that there should be objectives that are not purely off the scoring/comboing of a song ("annoying" objectives as you call it, although they don't have to be annoying). At the very least, you can make as many attempts as you want on these...at least I don't have to find a day off from work to get a token that requires me to play XXX amount of times within a day.
