Is it just me or is the quality of the music on Slaytronic super low. Like I know if I make an swf the bitrate is usually like 160 but this sounds like 96 or some ****.

The quality is 128kbps, with best audio quality as opposed to fast. It usually turns out the best possible .swf and iirc were the same settings Tass used.

Well regardless it sounds like crap lol... It's easy to change it to 160 iirc. Don't have that stuff on my computer anymore.

Originally, all songs were encoded in the swf at 96kbs, and we upped it to 128 at some point in the last 2-3 years. It's a nice compromise for file loading times.

Slay is definitely a VC. Got 7-2-0-7 first try and I haven't played in over a month and some. I only had one FMO AAA before quitting. Just sayin.

Interesting situation with the file. First that petition and then Ricky got in touch with Synthlight so Tass would allow the song in the game.

Synthlight (4:15:48 PM): Hammy's will go in if I have to put it in myself.. But I would rather do it without conflict and get to the bottom of what is going on. It is my fault that it has not gone in sooner because this week has been a mess.

Then Tass messaged me 12 days later:

I don't know for sure if Synth spoke with him or not.

A crappier version of the file was actually put in the game about 1.5 years ago and was planned to be released as a skill token. (I still have the token image for it that Tass wanted me to make.) However, two months before Tass put it in, I told Tass that I was going to fix up a lot on it and resubmit it for judging, despite the judges already accepting it. Tass forgot about that, so I had him remove it and then it got accepted again earlier this year.

I believe the first batch containing the file was in June of 2007, so trying to get this file in the game has been at least a 2.5 year process. xD

Feldacock should be FMO too I think. I don't know, I can't decide on Slay. The first time I played it it felt really overwhelming for a VC. I got a ton of late goods. Once I had seen the whole file though, the awkward patterns seemed less intimidating... but it's still very fast. Even once I figured it out, it still took me a while to AAA because of getting random goods when I stopped focusing on how fast it is. It feels slightly easier than Feldacockdick... I'd say 75 for Slay and 76 for Feldacockdickfacecock.

oh my god how have I not seen this thread? A new song for every day of the month....holy hell I'm happy. And I've been trying to talk in the subby forums I was wondering where everyone was I think slaytronic is a low FMO but unfortunately I would give it a high VC rating at this point because there have been VC's about this level released lately so it seems pointless to not stay consistent with the times.

oh and MrRubix I predict you will come back to ffr by March
