            If you ever hope to play 10-11+, you've pretty much got to play spread. I've played ffr for the last 5+ years on and off playing index/3 finger using the arrows and only in the last few weeks have started playing spread. The harder songs these days are meant for spread- better to start out playing that way then to try and make the switch later.
