You can't play 10+ and expect to do well with one hand.
BS
I'm not going deep into this.. I myself was one handed and you know this Mr.Nothing you saw me play. I could FC FMO's and crap better then half the spread players.. Not to mention close to SDG on FMO's
End of story.
I think it all depends on the person.... Go with whatevers most comfortable. I personally am a 2 handed player have been for over 4yrs now but I use hot keys..... with the arrow keys it seems easier to play one handed cause you don't trip over your own fingers.... now my brother he plays with just his 2 index fingers and he fcs vertex beta with hardly any goods lol so to each his own I say

If your story is all true, you're better than your friend if she plays easy songs with 1 hand. Playing spread definitely isn't cheating. The only way you can cheat in the game without hacking is to double setup (using more than 1 key for the same arrow).
Yes, she sucks at spread because she's not used to it, but if she did nothing but spread for a week, I guarantee she'd prefer it over 1 hand.
Based on the fact that no 1-handed player has AAAd a For Guru's Only song yet, and many spread players have. I'd say that you have more potential to succeed in this game more quickly if you play spread than if you stick with 1 hand. IIRC, Bynary plays 1 hand, but he still has 4 fingers on 4 keys, they're just on 1 hand.
Those who can play very well with spread, one handed (three fingers), one handed (four fingers), one finger, pettanko, split, and index at the same time are the only people who are good.

So like..a octopus or something?
EDIT:Well, more like a crazy octopus with like 21 arms O.o
My friend and I are having an argument. Meh, i play better than her, like at a higher level, but i play with two hands, easier for me :P she plays low levels with one hand and tells me that she's better than me because I'm cheating and playing with two hands. i say to her, if it is easier than you play with two hands, she does and sucks, and says it's just beacuse i'm not used to it.
long story short, my question is, is playing with one hand more skillful, or i should say do you disagree with playing with two hands or think it isn't as skillful?
Tell your friend that she'll more than likely not get as skilled as you are.
I've had this stupid argument with random people and I always win. Is it your problem that you chose the more efficient style? Is it your fault that your friend disagrees with you and what is a "playing style"?
It's her own fault for choosing the inferior style. It's not cheating to use 2 hands, all of the top players on the site (and more than likely a large chunk of the active players) use two hands. You should just ignore her if that argument comes up again.
Regarding the whole "one-hand vs. two-handed" playing argument, it personally doesn't matter to me what style someone uses. I play one-handed with three fingers, and it works out fine for me. Most of the top players use spread, or at least some kind of two-handed playing. But using either style you can still improve steadily, so I think that you should just use whatever you style you prefer, and don't fight with your friend.
