You're better off making a tribute pack for MJ for Stepmania rather than trying to get a single sim in FFR for a day.

edit: If someone plans on doing a tribute pack, it better be someone who knows something about simfiles, rather than some random scrub accepting every ****file.

I could compare him to captain jack, I'm not an idiot, they were both real non-FFR artists, and iirc, we didn't get permission for the Captain jack one either. And I doubt half the music we have for rhythm games wouldn't be there if not for MJ (the non-techno stuff).

If I compared him to someone as important to the rhythm gaming genre as Naoki, Tatsh, or De-sire, RevenGe (I think that's a Naoki alias though), then it would be different

Well, I guess it makes sense then.

The only thing that made me approve of this is because the moment I thought of commemorative file, I thought of Captain Jack. I don't really care for the whole MJ situation either, if it goes either way, I'll still be indifferent to it.

I don't think it's a bad idea, but if it doesn't happen, meh.

The possibilities of this happening is extremely slim and to be honest, I dont think anything of his songs are really that steppable. I think people should realize how much of a bitch it would to get artists permission for songs to be public in this game let alone getting an MJ song in here. Honestly, if a song is only public and then taken down for a couple of days, I dont really understand the hassel.

Oni-Paranoia, calm down. You dont have to be that passionate about something like this let alone repeat urself a million times on how this wont happen. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't. If it does, it does. In the end really, who cares. Just leave it at that.

The point of a thread is for discussion and I get really tempted to speak my mind when I know I'm absolutely right about something. The possibility of this happening is 0%. It would also be stupid for a number of reasons already posted in this thread.. yet it remains unlocked.
