    Switching my playing style..

WOW. Do you know how hard it is? I was one handing for 5 years, then today I decided it was time to ditch that and go two handed because I just couldn't keep up with the songs one handed. On top of that, I started running the arrows at 1.5x too rofl. I can currently only play up to tricky 2 handed; one handed I can do very challenging (Yeah I still sucked after 5 years).

... so if you want to switch GL; it's not fun heh

What do you mean by "I can do very challenging?" Pass? FC? AAA?

Edit: You have very low FCs and AAAs so I am guessing you meant you can pass VCs.

Also, everyone knows that it's really hard to change your playing style, but it is so worth it. I played one handed up to difficult songs, and then I switch to two handed.

Yah it is worthing switching. I could hardly pass any type of songs one handed so I switched to two hands (index). Then I went to this style that is a mixture of spread and index with both hands. I was able to AAA only 5 C songs and 1 VC song with that style. Then I made the hard switch to spred which I was meaning to do for along time. It was the toughest switch EVER! But now it is worth it becuase I almost have the skill token ONI! I have improved switching to spread and it was worth it. I can even still play my old style at the same time for the songs that are easier to do with that old style!
My main account is Elite Ninja now. I did not achieve all these skill tokens. This account is only to play them.

I was 1 handed for about the first year, then i did index ( and actually thought I was going to get caught for cheating, LOL) did that till about a year ago, then switched to spread. I dont regret at ALL. Its so fun being able to FC songs with jacks and stuff now. Only problem are trills

I switched at Standard. It was really easy.

Don't switch, learn both styles. Real fun that way

It's usually not TOO hard for someone to switch from a previous style to spread, but seeing as you've been playing for FIVE YEARS with a certain style might make it a bit more difficult. Anyways, good luck with your switch.

Well, I basically have. I can already do one handed (albeit not extremely great ). I'm switching for the same reasons as most of you mentioned - it just isn't great trying to do the more difficult songs 1 handed, which is yeah why I have low FC/AAA

Anyway, I think I got my FFR fill for the day. A good +- 10 hours of 2 handed relearning xD I think it'll be worth it too, with time.

I used to play 4-Fingered on the Arrow Keys, 3 from right hand 1 from left hand, I switched to spread about 2 weeks ago and now I can play pretty well. I'd say keep going with 2 hands and eventually you will master it again.

                        GL.

                          Re: Switching my playing style..

I do a mixture of spread and index. I'm pretty comfortable with index, but I think I may get equally comfortable with spread soon, just for the fact that it's much easier to pass certain songs with spread and other songs are very index friendly, but hard on spread.

I suggest learning spread, but don't lose your one-handed skills cuz theyz r pwnage playing style. 8]
                          Correct pronunciation of my s/n:

                          (tē-kā'-păv'ə-nīn'-yū-kŏn)

Abbreviations of my s/n that make me go or make me want to rip my eyeballs out of their sockets:

pavon, pavonin (um... what's a pavonin???)

Correct abbreviations that put a on my face:

pav, pavo, TK_pav, pavonine (which is an actual word and I prefer it much more with the "e"), pkon, and anything else as long as it makes sense
