He's just saying that the new rating system for comments on FFR are similar to the ratings he had already been giving in his comments.

The FFR simfile database... every stepfile I rated and left a comment about, I replied with:
BG/Banner: ****
Song: ****1/2
Sync: *****
Steps: ***

Now they changed the system to basically the same thing as what I was doing.
