Replays on Mp not working out right

Yeah everytime i play a game in MP and go to watch it in the replays , it is something completely different then i played , does anyone know what the cause of this is ?

Once upon a time, FFR use to live alongside what is known to us as av-misses. It basically means that you will get an average as well as a miss. The reason for this is slightly more complicated, but it has got to do with the overlapping of frames present in the game. At this point of the time, the replays haven't been fixed and will remain in the av-miss state. However, you will be able to view correct replays of songs which lack the 4 to 1 framers. Songs which incorporate these framers will be prone to the av-miss glitch when you are viewing the replay.

I'd like to say "Yes, they are working on it"...but no one can know for sure. Hopefully they are, though.

Shouldn't they be able to apply the same fix that they applied to the game to the replays?

No. The Replay engine is completely different (Says Tass) and apparently would be a lot of work to fix.
So I think Tass said they were just making a new Widget engine which they will run the replays off of.

oh ok , well that might work actually , i just didnt like going to the replays and finding what i know now as AV misses cause i have had some good plays in MP lol

Same reason. Notice how in my first post, I didn't mention 'songs in multiplayer', but songs in general.

And, when that happens... what will happen to our old replays? Will they still exist in the new widget engine?

Replays are little 5KB .??? files. I'm going to hazard a guess and say, yes they will work. Tass wouldn't release an engine that wouldn't play old stepfile data. :/

ok i just wanna have teh replay that i played cause sometime i do amazing stuff then i watch it and its like damn.....its different
