get a perfect on every note with zero goods, averages, misses, and boos
although, on harder songs, you can acquire a AAA by achieving the best score even though you have goods/averages/etc

I was actually kind of serious.
FC is a fairly good feat to achieve (and an INSANE achievement for a certain songs), and it's not horribly hard, as you can FC a song anyway by mashing.
On the other hand, in order to AAA you need to be perfect.
Being a human, this is against instinct, and is insanely difficult and takes so much time, making one play a single song multiple times. At this point it is no longer fun and rather frustrating, and makes one think "why the f*** am I doing this sh**"Last edited by leonid; 04-3-2009, 10:16 PM.Comment

Personally, I feel like I've really mastered a song when I get a clean FC (no misses, averages or boos). To me, trying to change my high score from 8 goods to 0 goods almost feels luck based (even though I know it isn't) - I can't avoid getting a handful of goods no matter how hard I try or on what difficulty level, so aiming for an AAA essentially grinds down to me playing the same song fifty times in a row until I luck out. Not fun.

Trying to go for AAAs isn't fun till you get the AAA. They really help though if you want to try to lower your average rank.

I know I see you guys do it all the time when Im on playing, but there always seems to be those handfull of goods on any song I get no matter what that makes AAA's seem more luck based then skill based [ for ME, I mean, look at how many BF's I have on so many songs lol ]. I also wonder if its not a combination of computer / keyboard / monitor etc, as well as speed mods and screen size in game, that can effect your PA.
My friendlly advice as far as AAA's, FC's, etc? Screw 'em. Ya you heard me. Who cares? I dont even care half the time what song Im playing, I just hit random. The best way to enjoy FFR is to ENJOY FFR, not let it become a frustrating game that upsets you when you cant do something, but rather, let it become an awsome game always that just makes you feel proud when you finnally DO accomplish something you've been trying to do.
