im one handed and my best FC was a lvl 9 song...i mashed a lvl 12 song FC one handed though but still...ive played 5k games...i guess your a quick learner or your not...and yeah, spreading that over 3 years...no wonder ur not getting much better

Here's where all of you are going wrong . Spread is not neccesarily easier then index . The only place where you people come out ahead is quads and hard rolls . The faster the speed , the farther the arrows are apart from eachother , the farther aparty they are , the easier they are to read .

1) your not pushing yourself...practise lvl 9 songs and u should get better

Playing songs far too hard for you WILL NOT IMPROVE YOU. Playing songs around, at, and slightly above your level is fine. You will naturally progress. Once those become too easy, you step it up from there.

Doing otherwise is like sending in an infant to fight a pack of tigers, hoping he'll emerge a great warrior.

ive only played 3000+songs
im still kinda noobish but i got better then when i started
but ive gotten betteryea i know its amazing

im a newbie, but i definately recommend increasing the speed. i was stuck on tricky songs, wasnt doing good on difficult, but i increased the speed to 1.25 and immediately noticed an improvement. it was really easy to get used to.

just a personal testimony or something

When I increased my speed to 2.00 I was able to do challenging songs and get a decent PA .

dude you cant spread 7500 songs out over 3 years and expect to be good

I haven't broken 10k and I'm closing in on 6 years.

True, Spread has a few downfalls.
I mean like... Left hand Drills (depending if you're right handed or not) are byfar the most ennoying thing to spread players.
But it's still imo the leading Style to play. Then again everyone has their own style and Whatever works for you
Number of songs played pretty much makes no diffrence, it's all about improoving.

First off, don't talk like that.
Second, spread is using two hands and keys like AS KL and a speedmod is in settings which makes it easier to read notes. I use x2.0.

I call BS..
I'm one handed.. I couldn't at all get anywhere near a 200 combo on FMO's
So I just kept playing FMO's
Then out of nowhere I'm FC'ing them..
So, yea.. Thought I'd throw that out there..

If your One handed and having this problem.. Your going to have it for awhile. It took me 2 years to progress to where I'm at and I still suck. All you have to do is push yourself to your limits and continue it on and on and on..

I think what he means is when you get over 100 boos and misses combined on a certain song, then that song is a little too hard for your level, and playing it won't get you far. You'll improve, sure. But very slowly.

A new member can come in and just whore FMOs till they pass. Or they can slowly progress to that level like other normal players do.

To improve though, you DO have to push yourself. You're not going anywhere either if all you play are songs you can FC all the time.

Oh and yeah, I'm at 7,300, still trying to FC Vertex BETA. I'm at the breakpoint of doing it, though I'm not trying that hard. Just gotta practice. Going for AAAs also helps one a lot.

hahaha! Should have seen me when I started. But i had full knowledge of what do do cause I played DDR alot. But on the keyboard was a challenge I started off one handed, and decided to try two hands. Now I can do up to Very Difficult. Though a lot of habits get in my way....
