    FFR with rockband drums

Wondering how many of you have done this. I'm doing it right now and It's hard as hell, but insanley fun. Only problems I see occuring are unfair boo's.

unfair? it's not meant to be played that way... so it isn't designed for play that way. therefore, any negative side effects are not really our concern.

with that said... people have been messing around with different ways to play FFR for years. first time someone used the RB drums was at least a year go. they even posted a video of them doing it.

      Unfair?

How about unfairly being able to hit jacks much easier? I think that's a little more unfair.

I've done this. I also used my GH guitar to play.

I meant by ones that I didn't actually do, not that they were litterally unfair by the game. Bad choice of words.

Bahahaha...hitting the 259 bpm 32nd rolls on RB drums.

Personally, not a lot of files are that jacky on FFR to make playing on the drums a really good idea. I think it's been compared to playing index, except your speed will necessarily take a hit because you have to hit the drums with a certain amount of force, and when you get back to Rock Band, you'll somehow have to remember how to use the bass pedal all over again.

                  Re: FFR with rockband drums

the problem lies in crossovers because simple patterns for real playstyles don't translate at all to drums
