Make your own song on FFR?

Hey people! Listen I am still a bit new here so I still need to know a thing or two around. Now the following question I am going to ask my sound a bit funny but this is coming from a member which joined 0.04 years, according to my profile.

    Anyway, my question is:
Is there a possibility of some sort to be able to create your own song with your own stepfile (or beatmap I don't know how is it called xD) and import it to FFR? Remember this question may sound funny but, just curious!

You can take any song into Stepmania/DDReam and add your steps that way. To actually get it into FFR you have to submit it to the batch and it has to be a cut above the jib (read: good)

I think that he wants to create his own music and step it, but I could be wrong.

If you want to have a chance of getting it into FFR, it has to be an artist who has given permission to FFR for his music. (You can get it yourself if you're tactful, or ask someone else to do it for you. However, your first file isn't going to be top notch quality, so make a few and figure out what works and what doesn't first. (Analyse other successful artists if you're ever not sure.)

Also, try to get some of the most respected music-makers in FFR to give you some tips for making music.

Re: Make your own song on FFR?

If you plan on stepping your own music you can just use the song that you made and put it into Stepmania and step it from there. Make sure that it's YOUR song and not anyone else and make sure that you stepped the song correctly for it to have a higher chance of becoming accepted. If you need some advice/tips/guidelines about stepping Simfiles then visit here.

Or hell, you can just email/contact someone to test your Simfiles for you, if you're having trouble, by visiting this link.

If you plan on stepping a song that's NOT by you, you have to make sure that you have permission for the artist. Here's the link to all the artist's who gave us their permission for their music.

(Some artists, however, only allows some songs/albums to be stepped so view it carefully.)

After you step it, you should go to this following link for further directions about sending your simfile into FFR

I hope this answers all your questions.

Yea, I want to do something like that, you see I have a program called DVDVideoSoft and I use it to download MP3 Files that can be extrated with a Youtube to MP3 Converter. I want to take one of those songs and make a simfile/stepfile out of that.
