So, I got Here We Go, which is pretty damn cool, also quite difficult. My guru's I fc'd, not going to lie, are largely mashfests, I can play most of the songs but the really hard parts that make them Guru's, I mash the hell out of. Specifically the jacks. I want to get better at hitting a single note really ridiculously fast, but I don't know the first place to start. I know practice will take handle, but how do you guys do it? ^^

You basically answered your own question. It takes lots and lots of practice. You have to practice songs that help speed on both of your hands such as AIM Anthem, Club, Crowdpleaser, even Crystalis - House Leaves for more beginner jacking. Don't play the songs too much though, not only will your wrists hurt (maybe even get you CTS) but you may also get mental blocks. I recommend playing at least 5 jacky songs a day, but if you're not used to playing them, I recommend stopping at...let's say 30.
It's really easy to lose yourself in a song. If you are just going for combo, ignore your PA and just hit really early on jacks. It will cause you to get averages and goods, but you WILL FC songs much easier. If you're going for both PA and speed, try not to play songs too out of your skill level. You will ignore the timing frame and you will start hitting early or "vibrating" which can effect your skill in a negative way. Lots of people do this and although their speed truly does increase, they ignore the fact how it kills your PA. Try to find out what a good song for jacking is.
Even Mario Minor would be a good song as they are slow jacks, but still fast enough to practice on. Learn to hit them in the perfect frame the best you can. You have to 2 frames to work with, one that is exact and 1 a little earlier than exact. If you hit 1 frame late, you will get a good so stare at the arrows at the top of the screen and watch for it as it stays in the frame, or a little earlier. It takes some getting used to, but it results in a positive impact.
I'm tired and probably repeated myself a couple times in there, but I have to start my homework. Hope this helps at all, and keep practicing! Even getting Stepmania would be good to do. Stepmania has a wider selection of jacking songs, and one that even helped me improve dramatically: Kasta Sten.
Good luck!

Judging by his skill level I don't think playing anything easier than the privateer will help him much."I'm a man of integrity and proclaimination while ur just blinded by ur segregation and nullification."Comment

So you want to learn how to jack faster...
Don't lift your fingers off the keys much, and, if you can, tense the muscles on your arms. Oh, the most important part, tap very fast.Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

That was actually what I was looking for. I know the basics of how to improve, I just wanted to know the most effective and fastest way to...well...jack, no double entendre meant. Promise.Comment

Re: So, I need advice from some Guru Pro's.
You don't have to work on your speed, you need to work on your control. The more control you have, the more speed you'll get. How do you get control? Practice. If you don't have control over your fingers, your speed ain't worth ****. Play something like Starlight, that should help a lot after a while. Just don't try to master Grand Galop Chromatique.
EDIT: I don't believe Starlight is public yet, so wait.~ 2nd Official FFR Gamewhore

Re: So, I need advice from some Guru Pro's.
try to read way ahead of where you actually are in the song. this works for me on lol-fast songs like reality or Lolo. your fingers will know what to do if you just go with it. Plus if your rushing and looking way ahead, you have a buffer zone to fall back in if you start to fall behind.
ps i'm hardly a guru/pro but it might still help...starting up again
