Okay, i've been reading this topic about people QQing about FFR not working properly on Vista...

For me, it has worked 100% with better frame rates on anything i've played then XP. I'm going to now post the specs of my computer that has costed my less then $400 to build.

While playing FFR, I use Firefox 3.0.1, and have no problems what so ever...

It's software not hardware. (Unless your HDD is bringing you down)(Shakes little fist at HDD)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard
What is everyone's repeat rate, time to repeat, and is filter keys off?

Lol, you know I agree with the OP of this topic. I have not had much trouble. My KB is a little weird since it's USB/soft-key, but other than that, Vista's run FFR pretty smooth. I believe having a GFX card has ALOT to do with it. I have a pretty standard GFX card in my set-up and it runs SM at ~500FPS.

There has been one incident where Vista and FFR didn't work out and that was on a computer that had no aftermarket GFX card.

I'm tired of microsoft sockpuppets.

I'm sick of ignorant macfags who would buy Steve Jobs **** in a shiny white box with it labelled "IPOOD". Different people use computers for different things. For instance I would never get a mac because mac products only work with other mac products. On top of that it is a slower operating system to run, and comes with ****tons of bloat-ware such as Garage Band. If you're not very computer savvy and want a very simple OS get mac fine but don't be a dick and tell everybody how it's so much better because I would probably kill myself if I had to run OS X but I don't think it sucks, it just doesn't fit my needs at all.

Also about Vista, there could be a lot of reasons why people are lagging but if people took the time or had the knowledge to optimize their systems or had the hardware to run Vista they would be fine. Video cards probably have a lot to do with it as just having even a NVidia 6800 would probably be enough to balance things out.

It's a piece of **** IMO and wouldn't want it on my computer. Also Linux is good but it's hard to use. I've been playing around with Unbuntu and I might take a look into Red Hat but I'm still going to use the OS I know how to use until I'm can fully use a form of Linux I'm happier with.

GarageBand is uselessware.

A) You don't know how to use Vista properly, so you blame it.

B) You can't afford a decent computer to run Vista at decent speeds.

C) You used the beta and are now horribly tainted and biased.

Linux is a bit too technical for most people to handle... Runs everything lightning fast since there's no bloatware/excess processes at ALL, but hard to use.

And probably it's because you have enough memory and a good enough graphics card... Since vista just eats memory for breakfast >.>

EDIT: Stop calling people who don't like vista haters... Honestly, we hate it because it STILL sucks... It has DRM--digital rights management... Constantly scanning your computer for i dunno what... Nobody knows, but it always uses ~5-80% processor... That's just one reason to hate it.

The fact you can buy a $400 computer that can run Oblivion on Windows Vista (64-bit)... makes the whole memory thing null and void.
