    Sonic Remixes on FFR

    im satisfied to see that ffr is accumulating lots of sonic remixes. the composer for sonic team has never ceased to entertain me and apparently hasnt ceased for others, either.

    anyone who has played just about all the sonic games (from the debut to next gen consoles) has heard the songs, and if youre a fan like me, can name the level just by hearing the song, and what game the level came from as well.

    i couldnt help but notice that there were 2 others i had to listen through once or twice to recognize that they, too, were remixes.

    there are songs like sonic one final boss, sonic 2 boss theme, metropolis zone, and others of the sort (cant remember the other obvious ones for some reason).

    but did anyone notice the resemblance for melted marble and lover reef? i hadnt noticed it right away. if you didnt, go take a listen. melted marble is marble zone from sonic 1 and lover reef is lava reef from sonic 3 and knuckles.

    just tell me im not alone in that you guys didnt notice it right away plx, lol i just felt i had to post this because i didnt notice it at first and i wanna see how many people noticed it.

    i was bored as well.

      I've heard Ska Cha Cha was something sonic too...

          Never really played sonic game lol, or knew much about it. Haha but I love the song 'Melted Marble' I'm gonna go play it now.

              You forgot to mention Three Ring Nightfall.

              There are many more composers than just "the composer for Sonic Team". A few composers include Hideki Naganuma, Masato Nakamura, and Richard Jaques.

              I can only recognize the tunes from the first two Sonic games. Nothing else has ever stuck in my head except for, say, Miles's theme song from SA1. And I haven't played anything past Sonic Heroes...

              Melted Marble was way past obvious for me. When I first saw the title in the game, the possibilty of it being a Sonic remix came up. The thought was easily confirmed the first time playing it. I wouldn't have recognized Lover Reef if I hadn't made the file, though. I never played Sonic and Knuckles long enough to get to the Lava Reef Zone.

              And, yes, Ska Cha Cha is Sonic, too. The correct genre for its placement should be Arcade, not Miscellaneous. After all, it's a song directly from Sonic Rush.

              I've been hoping to step a good Starlight Zone remix for FFR for a while now... Never have found one we have permission to use. But then again, I haven't been looking.

                  Seriously though, JS and Crush 40 are simply incredible.

                      I remember my first Video Game console was Sega Genesis! I owned Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Pinball, and Sonic 3D Blast... and Sonic Playhouse for PC xD.
                      If I remember correctly, there's an Emerald Hill Stage remix on here too. I haven't played much FFR recently. Hopefully I'll catch up on the 'in the know' for all the songs soon.

                          I love the sonic games. I really love the Sonic 2 soundtrack. Especially... Metropolis Zone... ugghh...


                          Wait... what? Anyway, the point is... I like Metropolis as well as my Mudkips *laughs*
