I have an idea that may be of benefit to all who play FFR.

I've been playing multiplayer lately and I like to use the dropdown list to choose songs, the problem is though, that once you click on a song, there is no cancelling it. I think it would be a good idea to have the option available to cancel out the song you have chosen before it fully loads, in case you pick the wrong song by accident. I'd like to hear everybody's thoughts on the idea, and if it were to ever become a reality, that would be even better!

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

You can cancel it from the drop-down list if you click ffr shop. Be sure to reset the speed mod though.

Decent idea, but you probably wont even know you accidentally clicked the wrong one til the song starts. Also, if you have a faster internet, there isn't time to cancel. o.o

I seen a thread like this in subscriber forums. Didin't do so well but I support the idea because sometimes im careless and accidently pick the wrong song.

This used to be an option, then they got rid of it.
Apparently it led to glitches and strange instances in MP where two people could be facing each other on different songs or some other odd stuff.

I dunno, if they could re-implement it that'd be nice. It's very frustrating in MP to accidentally select a token or secret song that the other person doesn't have, then not be able to back out of it.

As has been stated...you can get out of it using the Shop or Challenge buttons, and then resetting the speed mod (which changes back to 1x for some reason)

Not elegant, but it is possible.

Yeah, I kinda like this idea though, regardless of the knowledge of clicking on challenge/FFR shop cancels the loading.

This function was removed when the secret song glitch was fixed.

I agree, its annoying to have to quit MP, then reopen it and hope your spot is still there. It would be nice to have a button that stops the songs.

as has been said... this is the lesser of 2 evils. removing it would open up a bigger issue.

When I chose another song genre it cancels loading the song for me.

I remember when we could cancel out by just clicking on the genre you selected. It's annoying since in some songs I can't fully load, and I couldn't get out unless I refresh the page.

But the Shop thing is another option. Never knew that since I don't play much, if any =/.

It's a good thing you started this thread. most people(plus me) didn't know about that challenge button and i hope this helped out people that reads this thread.
