My Accuracy Is Busted, Or Something

I can't AAA anything at all it seems.

I get a BF or a SDG.

I used to get 5 AAA's a day sometimes.

Today is the first time I have AAA'd anything in months.

Do any of you have tips, or am I just non-AAA-able now?


Yes, I play the song over and over.
Yes, I really try to pay attention to the music.
No, I haven't tried to play anything recently without music, but perhaps I should try.

Sleep isn't an issue, although I almost wish it were.
At least I would know why I'm doing poorly.

I've been up all night. That's how I roll in the summer.
Up all night, asleep all day like a vampire.


I use headphones most of the time, and it doesn't seem to help.

I read in a thread a while back that hearing your fingers hitting the keys AND listening to the music helped.
But alas, nothing.

If you want a tip that may dramatically improve your playing, tap very lightly. VERY lightly, so that you can't even hear the notes. It may be hard at first because you will be focusing on kinesthetic coordination instead of auditory coordination, but once you get the hang of it, your speed will get better on faster songs, which will eventually lead to better PA.

Have you tried turning the quality down? It might be lag that you aren't noticing.

Well, maybe you shouldn't play the same song over and over again. Just a friendly suggestion

But if that's how you play, maybe you have reached a point where you are trying to AAA harder things. Also, I don't know if you were affected by the lag issue, but that may have been it too. If you haven't tried recently, you might want to. Or, try low quality. That helps some people.

I'm the same way, by the way. I stay up until 10 AM and sleep until 5 PM. Fun stuff.

Some comps' sound comes after the arrow. Then if you hit it as you SHOULD, it gives you a good.

Happened to me in China loads of times...stupid chinaman comps...*mutters*...got me out of the tourny...

It seems like a lot of people have been experiencing lag lately, I don't think it's any one individual's computer. I've spoken to a few people that have been getting random lag spikes, it's no good. I would suggest just taking a break for awhile.

I always play on low quality and I rarely get lag.

Somehow I managed to bag 3 more AAA's so far today.

Dumb luck if you ask me.

luck? it's all skills to even AAA one song =D. you must've gotten rusty for a while and now your back to AAAing againg =D

switch to spread and you'll get a bunch of new AAAs. maybe not right away... but after you adjust.

Spread's hard to switch to. Plus also if she stops playin for maybe a day then comes back it should help.

A new chair that's Higher or lower (Dependent upon your height as is) would help to.
