I felt fine after 12 hours. My concentration started to go at 16-17 hours, my wrist started to hurt after 18, and I stopped after 19 and a bit hours, followed by a good 8 1/2 hours' sleep.

Props to those who stayed on for 24 hours.

Well, I slept from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and came in 2nd with an average rank more than 1000 compared to Dingleberry, so it looks like he was the only one who went the whole day.

I got up at 8am and went through the whole thing. If I ate dinner at the computer I could have gotten 5th :/ lol. Dinner really sucked up time.

I still maintain that it's not possible to pass vROFL without some kind of quadholding. Either that or I suck. I've gotten to the WoD like 10 times in vROFL since the avmiss fix, and all my vibrating in the world just isn't passing it. Is anyone else able to?

I mean I can pass stuff like MIHC and whatnot, so I know I'm decently fast. But the energy drain in vROFL always catches up to me and I lose after I scroll past the WoD.

I really thought I'd make at least 2nd place if not 1st for a while there.

Actually I had a few things going against my favor. There were a few times where I would find after long playtimes it would magically auto sign me out even midsong sometimes. This resulted in at least two rather long songs' scores not being recorded after I played through them and I had to re-do them.

Also, I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but for a time there, literally the site was not accessible for about 30 minutes. That was 30 minutes I couldn't spend increasing my rank.

Those two things were beyond my control. One thing against me that was my fault was for some reason I was thinking to convert to Central time I subtract an hour, meaning when it was 11PM for me, contest over, and I planned my strategy accordingly. I believe that would have netted me 2nd if I remember correctly but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, it turns out there were still 2 hours left, so in the confusion I lost time playing songs and I also could have fully played through more songs, rather than rushing and half or quarter playing songs when it was nearing 11.

Congratulations to everyone high up on the list though. That was some fierce competition and I know that even some of you who didn't make it top-5 put a lot of time in it (specifically I remember Fractal_Monkey and AOD_ELEMENT sticking it out for long periods but I'm sure there were others).

I had quite a strategy built up but unfortunately it was geared 2 hours early and I lost time due to other things.

I went the whole time as well, minus like three fifteen or twenty minute breaks for food/restroom/removing wasp nest that I remember and also minus the times it auto-signed me out and minus the about 30 minutes when the site was not accessible.

Oh yeah, I also unlocked a skill token that I didn't already have while playing the competition. I guess I have to re-unlock that one with my main? That is going to be a pain, lol, but so it goes.

Getting a combo of 600 or higher on Piano Etude(Demon Fire) is not hard(mashing). I do not even think you have to pass the song. Just get 600 and fail out.

How did you know that was the one it was? But yes you are correct. That is what I unlocked in competition that I didn't already have.

And you are also correct in that I was mashing that song but it just seems more like a good amount of chance to me as to how long I can keep up a combo mashing and most of the times at least one or two arrows are going to slip by and ruin that.

I'm not sure if you need to pass the song or not. In competition, I met the 600+ requirement and passed the song.

no idea about the 30 minute downtime... the only downtime on the site was right as the contest ended, and that was for about 15 minutes.
