Is anyone's R1 running faster on Firefox 3?

I have a really old computer and I always have to play it in low quality but when I downloaded 3 today, it runs faster in high quality than it used to in low.

Happen to anyone else?

the exact same here! just installed firefox 3 the flash runs better this is GOOD!! after i started playing stepmania few days ago the FPS in FFR got me down but now its better

I installed FF3 last night and ended up getting 3 new fcs (one being my first lvl 10 with quite a few boos lol but idc atm). It could of been that I was playing on my laptop and just connecting the kb to it. But eh...I'll find out today when I'm at work and install to see if theres any noticeable difference. It's an old pc which I could never MP on because I lag out instantly lol.

Firefox usually installs stuff like this on it's own but it didn't this time...
Anyway, I like how you can zoom in now. (I mean if they put zooming in and out now, well I didn't know)
I tried play on FFR and.. it plays much smoother now and I tried zooming in for full screen, which plays well, but lags frequently, but this time, when it lags, I can keep my combo, not like last time when it lags it just cuts off.
For Firefox itself, it's good having that malware protection ( since I suffered from one not long ago, it's really bad ) and the 5,000 add-ons and growing, it's really just... better.

I'm not so sure about FF3 anymore. I downloaded it yesterday and it was working better than IE yesterday. R1 was running a whole lot more smoother than on IE. Then I played it today. Apparently, my sister had set IE to the default browser (again) when FF3 had already set itself as my default browser. I tried playing FFR today and it lagged. A LOT! So I think I'm going to switch back to IE again.

I still have to play low quality, and mp is much worse. I get lag spikes that last a whole second at a time Single player is the exact same for me though.

Lags like crazy during songs, have to stop pressing everything for it to stop.

I played as a guest to see if there was any difference in FF3 and before, none, still prefer to use I.E if I was going to play FFR.

Also, for those who enjoy the bigger back button. Why are you using it at all? It's far faster to just use alt + left (back) or alt + right (forward).

You guys should check out Flock...it's built on top of the Firefox Browser, and it has some nice social networking features if you want them. (Flock 2.0 beta 1 uses the FF3 engine). Most extensions will work as well.

But yeah, the FF engine is certainly much faster, though I still get lag due to having a bunch of tabs open and using a ****ty computer. Ah well, that's life.

FF3 is good, but when aim is open with it I lag bad when playing FFR, but just now I only have FF3 open, and I just blackflagged Video Out A, average flagged Power rangers song, and got a couple of other good scores, my accuracy got somewhat better.

I remember an argument about IE being better than FF3, and I was like... wow, I.E. SUCKS!

The person said it was only because of zoom, I believe. I went to see. I said it could zoom, then he said, "Not on flash". Went to FFR the Game, zoomed, it worked. He still believes I.E. is better.

My I.E. lags, and doesn't take in all my keyboard commands.

IMO, FF3 Beta5 pwns the hell out of I.E.

FF3 Beta5 has done nothing but good for me, and it pulls up faster, it takes care of downloads better, it takes care of flash better, takes care of page loading better, and takes care of POP-UPS HELL OF A LOT BETTER.

For everyone who's switching back to IE (bad idea in the first place) because they experienced a little lag, wait it out. When I first downloaded I had weird lag spikes, however they're slowly going away.
