You guys need to understand that the new Firefox zooms in on everything with its zoom feature now. You can choose to have it be text only like it used to be if you want it like that though. Also, you could zoom like it zooms now with Firefox 2 if you had the web developer's toolbar add-on and used its zoom feature.
FireFox 3 has barely any difference compared to my old FF browser.
If any, the lag durations are just short consistent spasms with an occasional 1 second average lag. But, it's not like I didn't have lagging on my old FF browser.
Maybe I just have to let the game settle in before I have no lags like I usually had done with my old FF browser.
If I had a second chance before downloading this update, I'd stick with my old browser.
Maybe I'll change my mind in a few days since I only had this update for 20 minutes.
EDIT: Anyone know how to make the character encoding view kanji? I can only seem to make it view hiragana as well as katakana.
1. You all need to learn the difference between Java and JavaScript. Badly.
2. I made the script and it's in this thread.
3. FF3 zooms in on everything including Flash objects.
Firefox 3 runs Flash VASTLY better. I can play high quality in multiplayer with zero lag.
My vista computer doesn't seem to like Firefox 3 though. It doesn't run to well on there. That doesn't mean it will run bad for everyone on vista though.
I've actually always used IE, and switching to FF3 has made a tremendous difference on my computer.
Less lag, faster load time, smoother flash game play.
Also, anyone noticed the bigger back button?
Yeah, I love the bigger back button, cause I use it so often.
And FF3 is WAY better on slower computers, like my aunt's I'm using currently with 256 MB of ram. IE takes 3 minutes to load compared to 10 seconds for FF3.
Playing FFR/Lurking around the forums since Dec. 2004
Downloaded a add-on with the cool built in search add-on feature, not sure if the search feature on that was there in earlier releases, I was never big on add-ons on anything, but I got this thing named "Glazoom", it's like the zoom feature on IE, but even better!

Ick, you can change that by right clicking up there and pressing customize.
Big buttons are gross. =P
