I prefer JX' over yours. I suck at it, and the patterns are awkward, yet it has this unique charm to it that makes it fun. Yours, on the other hand, seems to lack this personal charm. It plays, guess; just like every other file you've ever made. In fact, it's safe to say I hate your chart, and I believe the judges did well in choosing his over yours.

p.s. Does it matter if it got in anyways? Nobody would have played it after unlocking it, because both files are retardedly dumpy. I only play JX's from time to time when I'm really bored

You make an interesting point, but i have to wonder.. What on earth is this so-called "Charm" you mention? Sure Stargroup's file plays like most SG files, but it's good, and it's fun. And i'd take fun over JX's "TECHINKAL" file any day.

Basically what i'm asking is, what do you really mean by charm? Is it like, you enjoy the fact that it's a JXDump and not an SGDump?

I can't see how this is possible since I step each file completely differently. This file was actually quite conventional, rather than the usual experimental crap I try.

actually I don't care about my HWG dump much, and don't even remember how stargroup's was other than it was dumpy as well.

arguing on the past FFR's choice won't change anything, you can still submit V2 if you want when you don't like V1.

Hatten Carnival has a so-so original and a too easy v2 and they're both cut.
The full version is just 3:something, could I step it for a v3 (or we could call it Hatten Carnivial! [Full Version]

kinda doesn't matter who makes a v2 considering only about 1% of FFR can even unlock the token for v1. Even less would be able to unlock v2. The skill requirment will be stupid, impossible and almost unattainable unless you are a god.

Think of it this way and you will find that this argument is a moopoint, unless you are happy with only like 40 people only being able to play you're song.

I said this before and Ill say it again, even though I never played it, V1 might be dumpy, but so is all speedcore. Just a vibe Im getting.
