I'm guessing you mean this one. If you listen closely it's actually rolls+BD 16ths until I change direction of the roll so you're lucky I didn't layer that in there /impossible.

But you're right, you can PA it and hit the whole thing as a jumpjack, if you do it sloppy.



And you're not paying 7 bucks for the file, that's just an added bonus at this point.

The point is to support FGJ! and FFR. If you don't like FGJ! I can understand not wanting to buy the album.

also, I contribute a HELL of a lot more than you. I've made files that are generally liked by the public, and as an experienced and skilled veteran many people respect my ideas. in addition, I'd say I'm a pretty successful musician.

in strawberry's post, I agreed that his statement was true, but because it was obvious. I did not ultimately agree with him because his ideas were very simple. all I did was provide depth and insight.

next about opinions and taste.
there is no concrete definition of taste, and there is no right or wrong opinion. HOWEVER THERE IS a tasteful opinion and a non-tasteful opinion. there is good taste and there is bad taste. no taste is right but there are opinions that are more tasteful. got it?

I present things I believe are correct through my experience and knowledge. and since I don't see anyone else who has contradicted me in certain areas without sufficient evidence, I have come to believe that I am generally right. I actually don't give a sh*t if you listen to me or read my posts since you're insignificant to the population anyways.

now about writing a stepmania book
if I were ever to write a book about how to play or create your own expansions to an open-source program developed by the public and evolving because of the community I would care about money as much as I'd care about ripping a piece of tissue paper

my opinions are generally the opinions of most people and their subconsciousness, whether they realize it or not. therefore my opinions are not necessarily "right," but they do provide insight and a new point of perspective for most people

and IF I were actually to write the book I would never tell people to step files the way I do since that would be constricting style. I WOULD give helpful hints on what makes a good file- I'm sorry, TASTEFUL file, but never tell others how to step

also don't use logical fallacies. they make you look stupid. you have no evidence to conclude that if I wrote a book it would come out bad.

now the worst part of this entire post that ultimately exposes your lack of logic when talking about stepfiles, is the 3 words "bad 'jazzy' files."
first of all, jazz is one of the more complicated genres of music in general. by putting "jazzy" in quotes you have admitted that you have not accepted a file for being jazz, but merely a feeling. this shows how little you know about the genre and music as a whole.
second, they would not be bad files because they are good songs and good files. and actually I could expand this point incredibly far but I won't because not even I feel like typing all that

Are you talking about the really colourful stuff? If so, just hit it like 3 quads. It sure minimizes the goods there. I usually get one, if not zero. just from that.

You could potentially hit the jump plus the first 32nd as a quad and then continue on, but it's so much easier to hit the first rolls as they are and the rest as jumps.

Piano x forte is the ****, casket of star and radio heads are both pretty good, LGC is ok, and AT needs to be removed
